JOMO Climate Change Initiative is a youth led Organization focused on promoting environmental sustainability and addressing environmental issues; To unequivocally impact positively on the environment, recognizing the significant role played by technology, art, and fashion in promoting sustainability.
Our Mission
We are a Youth-led NGO focused on:
Creating awareness about Climate Change issues
Mobilization and meaningful youth engagement in climate action.
Promoting environmental sustainability & green recovery.
To raise and create cycles of eco-conscious generation adopting eco-friendly lifestyles.
Climate Adaptation (programming to support climate resilience); Clean Energy (support for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and related activities).
Sustainable Landscapes (activities to reduce or sequester greenhouse gas emissions from forests, agriculture, and other landscapes)
We are for the Sustainable Development Goals.
Aim
The primary goal of JOMO Climate Change Initiative is to initiate and undertake programs and activities that address environmental issues which aim at raising an eco-friendly generation through advocacy and sensitization of children and young adults on environmental activities and the impact each activity has on the larger society.
To unequivocally impact positively on the environment, JOMO climate change initiative recognizes the significant role played by technology, art, and fashion, in promoting sustainability.
